Our Story

Aasia and I have always had an amazing relationship.  While we both have busy schedules, we make sure we spend quality mother/daughter time as much as possible.  Among taking our frequent Mom & Me trips, we often slip away to visit our favorite eateries in the Dallas Metroplex.

One afternoon in December 2019, we went to Starbucks in Southlake, TX, where we talked for hours about our favorite oils, herbs, and butters that make our skin feel great.  After several hours of brainstorming, we realized we’d laid down the foundation to move forward with our business.  Nearly one year later we are excited to launch Brown Skin by Aasia Symone.

While we are a mother-daughter team, Aasia is the inspiration behind our products.  She shares the concepts and I work to bring them to life!
